Today we passed final inspection to complete the building permit and legally occupy my house!
Done, done and done. The punch list was short, and there are things to do outside in the coming months, but this place needs no more action for it to be complete. And it feels so.
Hard to describe but there's a shift with the having gotten over this hurdle. It has to do with no one else has any ability to make this either not happen, or happen differently, any more. Somehow, that's a thing in me that I will reflect on further but suffice it to say, it's profound.
The glass panel for the bathroom was installed today too, so really, there's nothing left to do!
Like the saying goes, no more to do, just be. I am looking forward to just be-ing in this space! Here, the sunrise on this first morning of this new chapter....lucky me.
